Jana Nunčič is an intermedia artist, connecting video works, performance and installations. Questioning the insitu experience in connection with public space and societys’ problematics. Expressing the moments of everyday life trough reality and by it increasing the awareness of it. Her interest lays in combining different media and trying to involve new technologies.
By the use of her own body she is exposing the presence and physics of movement and perception of the gesture or act. She has done over 70 performances and interventions in the public space. In situ projects are her foundation, because the differences between places she visits results in ideas for projects that directly respond to the new environment.
